
Agent Juanma Lopez has spent the last few hours at the Bernabéu, with the expectations rising that a deal may be agreed imminently that will see the Spanish striker move to Old Trafford.
Real Madrid chiefs are still believed to be pushing to secure a fee close to £70m for the 24-year-old forward, with reports in Spain suggesting the newly re-crowned European champions are ‘in no rush’ to sell a striker they are happy to keep at the club.

Spanish newspaper Marca are reporting that Morata has told Real Madrid that he wants to leave in this transfer window, even though his coach Zinedine Zidane has tried to convince the man who scored 19 times in 43 appearances last season to remain as part of his squad.
Meanwhile, it has emerged that Morata will not now complete a move to United this week, as he has already flown to Venice ahead of his wedding to fiancée Alice Campello this weekend.

United have confirmed their first signing of the summer, with Sweden defender Victor Lindelof completing his £30.7m move from Benfica after passing a medical at the club's Carrington training base on Wednesday.
